I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in the summer of 2009, but have lived with it for at least 12 years, with mixed results.
Since bipolar is neurologically still being figured out, I’m searching for cutting edge research while also learning the basics of bipolar.
While there are some good bipolar web resources, many of my searches have been fruitless. I’m hoping to fill in some of those gaps, for myself and hopefully others.
One word of warning: both bipolar and the medicines used to manage it have various cognitive side effects that can lead to typing or rambling writing. If I’m on the upswing, alliterative affections will creep into my florid prose despite attempts to prune it. (Can you guess where I am now?)
Anyways, I look forward to all the learning!
